To create a slightly distressed, urban look, the upper is lightly oiled and brushed, to bring out beautiful shades of uneven intensity.

The AVERY features hand-built vegetable-tanned leather outsoles, cut from the double butt of the hide, where the thickness is about 5mm. For added traction and grip, the leather sole is reinforced with rubber insertions. These soles are lighter and offer more traction and grip than traditional leather soles.
