UNTAMED STREET is a contemporary footwear brand, born from the union of London design with the Italian art of shoemaking. Entirely handcrafted by our artisans in the Medieval town of Montegranaro, Italy, each style is produced in limited numbers, moving away from consumerism and mass production, towards quality and sustainability. Bold and unconventional, our creations blur the boundaries between art and fashion, embedding techniques used by painters and contemporary artists.

UNTAMED STREET is only for those who seek something unique. For those unbound by conventions and unapologetic in their pursuit of style and self-expressionism. Individually crafted without compromise, it takes up to 8 weeks to produce a pair and over 100 procedures. Each step is designed to challenge the norm, from the choice of the richest calf and buffalo leathers, with their natural markings and irregularities, to an array of antiquing treatments. To create nuances and shades of uneven intensity, the shoes are either hand dyed and hand buffered or dived in colour and then carefully discoloured, waxed and brushed. Most styles also undergo an exclusive process called stone washing, consisting in washing the shoe in open washing machines filled with water and pumice stones. These are techniques that only few craftsmen are skilled enough to master.
The result is a product with a distressed and urban look, distinctive tactile textures and singular colouring, exuding character and a timeless sense of style and confidence.
